Yesterday Kathy and Pete Hendley (my sister and her husband) celebrated the finalization of the adoption of their two children. I had the honor of performing a dedication ceremony and prayer for Phoebe and Seth and a blessing on their family. It was a great day. Several of their friends were there to celebrate with them. This adoption process has been a long road for them and I know they're glad that part of the journey is over. Phoebe and Seth are very sweet kids and they all make a nice family.
